For my ePortfolio Part 3 post, I have chosen to analyze ComplexCon, an annual festival and exhibition held in Long Beach, Ca that celebrates the intersection of pop culture, art, music and fashion. It serves as a platform for brands, artists, designers, and fans to come together, collaborate, and explore the latest trends and innovations in the creative industry. From exclusive merchandise drops to live performances and panel discussions, ComplexCon offers a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees.

  1. Target Audience: Millennials and Gen-Z

  2. Scope: 20,000+ attendees

  3. Marketing: Traditional, New, and Social Media

  4. Suggestions for improvements to the event: a. What would you add or change about the event in design? Appeal to other generations who have an interest in art, fashion, and music Why? A significant number of other demographics attend ComplexCon outside of their target customer base. b. What would you add or change about the marketing leading to the event? Add sustainable design initiatives with a focus on upcycling and thrifting. Why? There is a waste crisis pertaining to clothing ending up in landfills. c. What leadership style would be ideal for this event? Transformational Leadership Style Why? Transformational leaders focus on a goal and are well-versed in aspiring others to accomplish goals.
